FIFF uses polling to make selections for the audience award

The head of 35th Fajr International Film Festival's Audience Award commission Ali Ashtianipour said movies screened in key cinemas on the first three days will run for the award.

Of all forty four movies admitted in the 35th Fajr International Film Festival those screened in Kourosh, Azadi, Zendegi, Charsou, Arikeh Iranian and Mandana multiplexes plus Farhang, Kian, Esteqlal, Javan and Bahman cinemas on the first three days of the festival will compete in the race for the award, Ashtianipour said.

Ahtianipour added, viewing audience will be polled to make selections and the top ten movies in the polls will be listed every day. The number of votes won’t be disclosed until the final day of voting which is Bahman 20 to provide equal opportunities for all movies..

The FIFF’s Audience Award winner will be announced at 05:00 on 21 Bahman.
